INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED MARINE LIFE ARTIST AND CONSERVATION ADVOCATE WYLAND WILL ADD “GREEN” TO THE DOLPHINS “ORANGE” CARPET THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24th AT SUN LIFE STADIUM IN COUNTDOWN TO SOUTH FLORIDA WYLAND LIVING GREEN FAIR TO BE HELD THE FIRST WEEKEND IN NOVEMBER

MIAMI, FL (October 21, 2010)--Globally renowned marine life artist Wyland -- who has been hailed a “Marine Michelangelo” by USA Today and is a leading international advocate for marine resource conservation -- will make a special appearance this Sunday, October 24th at Sun Life Stadium in active countdown to the free, open-to-the-public South Florida Wyland Living Green Fair (http://www.livinggreenfair.com/). The fair will take root in Downtown Boca (http://www.downtownboca.org/) at Mizner Park on Saturday and Sunday, November 6-7, 2010 and advance a collaborative Wyland Living Green Fair and Miami Dolphins Clean Water Pledge initiative launched today.

Wyland (http://www.wyland.com/) will add a message of green as he walks the orange carpet typically reserved for celebrities such as Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias and Venus and Serena Williams. Wyland will also join fans in cheering on the Miami Dolphins, after greeting families and children at his Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center set up in the AT&T Grand Plaza during pre-game festivities. Opening at 9 a.m., the 1,000-square-foot museum on wheels features a 40-person theater, a running river, video microscopes, and a watershed exhibit with actual rainfall. At 11 a.m. Wyland will stop by to meet-and-greet game-goers to encourage Dolphins fans to take the South Florida Wyland Living Green Fair Clean Water Pledge and also invite them to come out to the Wyland Living Green Fair the first weekend in November to learn how easy it is to live green.

According to Wyland, the pledge initiative is to encourage Dolphins fans of all ages to do their part for clean water and healthy oceans in South Florida; save water, money, and our environment; reduce pollution, and ensure a healthy planet for dolphins and other ocean friends. The objective is to save 10 million gallons of water, reduce waste to landfills by half a million pounds, and eliminate more than 10,000 gallons of household cleaners from entering local waters. Beginning today, all those who take the pledge at http://www.livinggreenfair.com/ get a chance to win Dolphins game tickets, dinners for two, and an original, signed Wyland artwork for their home. To support the initiative the Miami Dolphins is hosting the Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center at the stadium, inviting season ticket holders to the fair and posting pledge registration details on http://www.dolphins.com/.

Created to lead the way in educating families, communities and businesses on how to easily incorporate eco-friendly living with simple steps in everyday activities, the Wyland Living Green Fair is a regional interactive community experience that will bring together art, community involvement, and awareness about the environment to share how individuals and families can do better for the Earth and live a higher quality of lifestyle. Attendees will be engaged through an array of entertaining interactive experiences; product showcases; unique exhibitions; stage performances; organic cooking demos by South Florida chefs and food tastings; displays; movies; live entertainment and a host of other activities.

Fairgoers will be able to paint a 50’ mural with marine artist Wyland each day; meet and “Rock out this Planet” with Disney Channel and Radio Disney teen stars Anna Margaret, Jasmine Sagginario, and Ryan Newman; transform into a drop of water and find their way to the ocean at the Water's Extreme Journey Maze; become a water change agent at the Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center; see how the Grand Canyon was formed; watch popcorn being made from the sun; take photos with Spouty the Whale, the official fair mascot; learn about the latest electric hybrid cars; preview organic fashions; sample organic food; visit the Gumbo Limbo Nature exhibit at the Kids Eco-Zone; tour his exhibition at the Boca Raton Museum of Art and more.
