UP TO 25 DOGS FROM BAHAMAS RESCUED AND FLOWN
BY PILOTS N PAWS TO ARRIVE TODAY
FOR SAFE HAVEN AND ADOPTION TO "FUREVER" HOMES

Arrive At Tri County Humane Society in Boca Raton by 4:30 p.m.
WHAT:
Up to 25 dogs rescued in the Bahamas and are being flown in to South Florida via a private plane to Pompano Beach Airpark by Pilot N Paws (
www.pilotsnpaws.org), touching down at 3:00 p.m. Rescued from the streets, the dogs would have been euthanized if Pilots N Paws and Bahamas authorities did not step in and partner with Tri County Humane Society (www.tricountyhumane.org), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit 100% “no kill” animal rescue shelter that serves Broward, Palm Beach and Martin Counties. These dogs of various types and ages will be available for adoption beginning when TCHS opens their doors Saturday morning.
The two pilots flying this mission are Allan Weltman and David Slaick, both from Pilots N Paws, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission, like TCHS, is to save the lives of innocent animals. The plane for this rescue was donated by Sam Jacobs.

Take I-95 south to Sample Road. Go East on Sample Road to US1. Turn right on US1 (go about 2.2 miles to NE 10th Street). Turn right onto NE 10th Street. Turn right, destination will be on the right.

www.pilotsnpaws.org to provide a location where private pilots willing to provide free transport, and people and organizations who rescue, shelter or foster animals, could connect to save lives and find “forever” homes. Today the organization has 3,168 pilot volunteers and 10,551 volunteers.
