BOCA RATON, FL (March 15, 2010) — Protecting Sea Turtles has always been an important part of the Boca Raton community culture, and now an iconic Boca Raton hotel needs help finding Milton, the Turtle sculpture that was removed from its home at the entrance of the Boca Raton Bridge Hotel at 999 East Camino Real in Boca Raton, Florida. Commissioned by the hotel owners in 2002 to be designed by the internationally renowned, award-winning artist Todd Warner, the whimsical wood, clay, and steel sculpture depicting a life-size Sea Turtle stood as a beloved symbol of conservation, protection and community. Warner’s trademark animal sculptures, public installations and home installations can be seen at the corporate headquarters of USA Today, McDonald’s Corporation, the Orlando International Airport and have been collected by people such as: Zsa Zsa Gabor, Charles Gibson of "Good Morning America”, and the CEO and Chairman of Kellogg`s Corporation.

According to Greg Kaylor, General Manager of The Boca Raton Bridge Hotel, Milton’s value goes beyond the $25,000 current estimated price tag for the hotel employees who are offering a $2,000 reward for the tip that leads to the return of Milton. The reward is a combination of $1,000 in cash and a $1,000 gift certificate redeemable for guest room nights and/or dining at the hotel’s two restaurants: Watercolors Restaurant & Bar and Carmen’s Top of the Bridge.
