Mulcahy as COO, effective February 1^st. Drawing from expertise and experience honed through his demonstrated C-suite executive and industry leadership throughout his 29+ year career, Mulcahy will be in responsible for directing C3’s daily operations, driving revenue, building industry and customer relationships and guiding C3 through its continued growth. He will report to C3 CEO Rick Mancinelli.

Prior to joining C3, Mulcahy served as the COO of BCN Telecom, Inc. for 11 years, responsible for planning and managing the telecom company’s operations following a tenure as VP of Technology and New Ventures. With a track record of developing processes and procedures to increase overall operational performance, Mulcahy also founded/co-founded two start-up Internet companies that provided advanced services based on multimedia technology, serving global clients such as AT&T, Boeing, Goldman Sachs and Reuters.

Boca Raton, FL (May 29, 2014) – Tri-County Animal Rescue (TCAR), the region’s largest 100% no-kill 501(c)3 animal rescue nonprofit, is taking the lead in Boca and beyond to encourage employers to open their doors to their employees’ furry, four-legged best friends to join businesses worldwide in participating in the 16^th annual celebration of Pet Sitters International’s (PSI) “Take Your Dog To Work Day” (TYDTWDay^®) and support TCAR through its programming. Established in 1999 by PSI, TYDTWDay is the one coveted day of the year when pet lovers around the globe take a break from “working like a dog to working with their dogs” to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to promote adoptions from local shelters, rescue groups and humane societies.

To participate, TCAR recommends a variety of spirited TYDTWDay fund and awareness-raising free-style activities that employers can best tailor to fit their own workplace, workforce, work shifts and budget. TCAR suggests that for employees to participate by bringing their dog(s) into the workplace on June 20th, employers collect either a small monetary donation (possibly incentivized with a company match) and/or an item from the TCAR “wish list”.

TCAR suggests business free-style TYDTWDay programming can include an employer’s choice of:

·         Onsite bake sales and silent auctions to benefit TCAR

·         Collection hubs for much needed everyday items on TCAR’s wish list, such as paper towels,
cleaning products, 50-gallon black or clear trash bags, dog and cat beds, dog shampoo,
gift cards from Home Depot, PetsMart or PetCo

·         Onsite TCAR showcases of adoptable puppies and dogs

·         Canine photo and “tricks” contests

·         Pooch parades with themed awards

·         Pet Care “Lunch & Learns” on training and pet sitting tips, grooming, nutrition and exercise

TCAR encourages companies to actively share their “dog lovin’” passion and compassion with live streaming of their activities and TCAR “adoption” messaging on social media and website pages using hashtags #tricountyanimalrescue and #TYDTWD. Special “Paws Up” Business Canine Awards from TCAR will be presented to businesses that complete and submit a TCAR participation form posted on www.tricountyanimalrescue.com that includes their specific programming. FOR “TRI-COUNTY THURSDAYS” TO
RAISE FUNDS AND PROMOTE PET ADOPTION

Boca Raton, FL (May 27, 2014) – Tri-County Animal Rescue, the region’s largest 100% no-kill 501(c) 3 animal rescue nonprofit, is teaming up with California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) at Town Center at Boca Raton to co-host six weekly “Tri-County Thursdays” at the eatery beginning June 5th to raise much-needed funds to support the mission of TCAR that operates 100% on donations. TCAR supporters and patrons of CPK need only to print out and bring in a “Tri-County Thursdays” flyer (available from the TCAR website at www.tricountyanimalrescue.com), show the flyer on their mobile device, or mention to their server that they wish to participate in the CPK program to donate 20% of purchases to the rescue center, including dine-in, take-out, catering and all beverages.

In addition to raising money for TCAR, each of the weekly “Tri-County Thursdays” at CPK will also showcase “ready to adopt” dogs next to the entrance of the newly renovated restaurant located near Nordstom at 6000 Glades Road, Boca Raton. Two “sets of pets” will be looking to find their “furever homes”, during the first shift from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a second from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.

According to TCAR Executive Director Suzi Goldsmith, this weekly fundraising and adopt-stop enables TCAR to continue its life-saving work of restoring wholeness on a daily basis to puppies, kittens, dogs and cats in need while providing a safe home, comfort, nutritious food, lots of tender loving care and veterinary treatment until they can be adopted. “We encourage all pet lovers to come out, mingle and dine or take-out large orders on Thursdays for office lunches, family dinners, and birthday parties,” she added.

“CPK is excited for the opportunity to help these loving animals find the ‘furever’ homes they are desperately hoping for,” said Michael Hanzas, CPK general manager at Town Center at Boca Raton. “Tri-County is passionate, compassionate and committed to its cause, and we feel good about supporting its efforts -- as an important part of our give-back to the community -- knowing that the funds raised at CPK will go directly toward saving lives.”
