And A Family Film As Dusk Sets In

The Downtown Boca Friday Night LIVE! monthly entertainment series presented by JM Lexus on Friday, July 6th continues independence week celebration with a free, open-to-the-public family fun evening of “Panthers Play, Patriotic Picnic,  and a “Miracle” Americana-style in Sanborn Square beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Programming features the NHL’s Florida Panthers “Panthers Patrol” hosting a variety of interactive activities for children including an 88-foot hockey rink and an obstacle course, local award-winning soloist Kendra Fulmer  taking the stage with family sing-along patriotic anthems and family film “Miracle” starring  Kurt Russell taking the screen as dusk sets in sharing the remarkable true story of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team victory over the seemingly invincible Russian squad. The ever-popular Gourmet Truck Expo will be street-side throughout the evening serving up easy-to-grab American picnic favorites, including American barbeque hamburgers, hot dogs and more.

The Panthers Patrol will lead the fun beginning at 6:30 p.m., bringing its interactive fan-favorite activities all the way from the BankAtlantic Center to give children an experience they are sure to remember. Youngsters can test their agility and speed on the unique Panthers Obstacle Course  and take their own shot at making a goal at the hockey rink, while smaller children can hop around in the always-popular bounce house. The Panthers Patrol Party Mobile will also be on-site, a “tricked-out” interactive gaming mobile fully equipped with three flat-screen TVs and Playstation 3 gaming systems, where children can move their own favorite Panthers players to victory.

Boca Raton native and former winner and finalist in the annual  Boca Raton Future Stars Performing Arts Competition Kendra Fulmer will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. with a full line-up of patriotic favorites. Fulmer has performed at various venues in Boca Raton, including the Mizner Park Amphitheatre, Caldwell Theatre, Caruso’s and Renzo’s and passionately pursues her career as a pop artist, having released three original songs to date: "Dance With You," "Here to Stay" and "Sandstorm," along with a fourth single, "For You."
Visitors are encouraged to “come early, stay late...where something for everyone awaits” as thousands have done for previous Friday Night LIVE! events that included Chris MacDonald, the “ultimate Elvis tribute artist”; Tito Puente, Jr. and his Latin Jazz ensemble; and CityLink’s Boca Beerfest.

The Friday Night LIVE! evenings include gourmet truck dining with café seating, extended hours at participating businesses with special sidewalk tastings, samplings, trunk shows, dining specials, menu items and discounts and often late night "after parties" for exploring and enjoying the destination, from Mizner Park to Royal Palm Place, including the signature collection of shops and boutiques, restaurants and galleries along Palmetto Park Road and Plaza Real South.

“Downtown Boca’s July Friday Night LIVE! ‘picnic in the park’ evening is the ideal way for families to bring out the picnic blanket and continue to celebrate independence week, embrace the excitement that summer brings and explore and enjoy Downtown Boca with family and friends,” said Boca Raton Downtown Manager Ruby Childers.  She added that the Friday Night LIVE! event presented by  JM Lexus in August is themed “CountryTown”.

Free parking for the event is available at City Hall (201 West Palmetto Park Road), the Boca Raton Historical Society (71 North Federal Highway), the Downtown Library (200 Northwest Boca Raton Boulevard) and other locations downtown where event signage is featured.

Held on the first Friday of every month, the Friday Night LIVE! series presented by JM Lexus fills parts of Downtown Boca (including Sanborn Square and Palmetto Park Road), showcasing  live themed entertainment by award-winning bands and vocalists as participating shops, restaurants, and clubs extend their hours for “shopping and strolling” and offer Friday Night LIVE! samplings, discounts, and specials.  In addition, the Gourmet Truck Expo lines the event streets with themed culinary offerings and café style seating, art galleries plan exhibitions, boutiques may feature sidewalk fashion or trunk shows, and more for exploring and enjoying the destination, from Mizner Park to Royal Palm Place, including the signature collection of shops and boutiques, restaurants and galleries along Palmetto Park Road and Plaza Real South. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs; chairs available for rental at $2.

Kaye Communications Launches New KCOM-Writes Division As New Source For Strategic Content

“Writing Right!” Delivers Game-Changing Results

Kaye Communications, Inc., a South Florida headquartered integrated marketing and public relations firm, has established a new KCOM-WRITES division to meet the burgeoning demand by companies for on-going, fresh “original” content strategically developed to grow brand influence and customer engagement via a variety of communication channels. Staffed by a team of professional writers, award-winning journalists, columnists and editors – KCOM-WRITES will focus on developing strategic results-generating content and brand messaging to establish and/or strengthen client brand positioning and influence, awareness, and reputation in today’s ever-evolving 24/7 competitive communications age.

The division develops critical content essentials, ranging from brand promise messaging, blog series content, website copy, social media campaigns, news releases, bylined articles, e-blasts, and newsletters to ads, commercials, and brochures; invitations; sales letters; presentations; speeches, and more. The KCOM-WRITES services can be implemented with support from other firm practice areas, including KCOM-Creative, KCOM-Media Relations, KCOM-Online & Social, KCOM-Connect and KCOM-Crisis Solutions.

“Long known for our firm’s expertise and track record of success in delivering results-driven 'customized original content' as the strategic foundation for all integrated internal and external communications for our clients, our enhanced dedication in this practice area through KCOM-WRITES will be of significant benefit to small and large companies and organizations throughout the country on so many levels,” noted firm President and Chief Strategist Bonnie S. Kaye. “By leaving this art and science to us, businesses can focus on what their focus should be… business generation.”

Kaye reported that while most companies competing in today’s 24/7 percentage are stymied, often paralyzed, and genuinely fearful of engaging. Business owners and entrepreneurs can easily and quickly recite a number of obvious communications channels, but most will tell you that they are not proficient or know how to even start to effectively use and populate those channels to best share their brand promise and reinforce their brand influence and its company mission. Many of those who have been “in the game” are not sure what they are doing is working.

“’Writing right’ is a critical game changer,” Kaye noted. “We excel in delivering effectual content, knowing well that ‘writing right' is much more than just writing…it means ‘writing for results’ based on sound strategy. Success is only achieved by intelligently creating specifically-targeted messages and utilizing the vehicles that most impact audiences, from collateral, videos, ads, and presentations to mobile apps, broadcast, and online and social media.”

With more than 65 years of combined principal experience to draw upon, the firm's strategic client concentrations focus on clients in healthcare, hospitality, lifestyle, professional services, legal, ACE (arts, culture and entertainment), campaigns and conferences, public entities (government agencies, community redevelopment agencies, business improvement districts), sports, and GREEN/sustainability fields.

According to Kaye, the expanded platform and KCOM-WRITES will deliver the level of services the firm principals have successfully developed and implemented on behalf such national and regional brands, including Home Box Office (HBO) and its family comedy, documentary and original film programming; Boston Market; Boca Raton Resort & Club; Promise Healthcare; Allianz Championship, a PGA Champions Tour event; Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa; Boca Raton CRA for the Downtown Boca destination; Downtown Boca's inaugural Meet Me On The Promenade Streetside Fest; Muvico Theaters; California Pizza Kitchen; Law Offices of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith; the New York National Boat Show, Miami International Boat Show, and the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.
Kaye Communications, Inc. is headquartered at South City Plaza, 1515 South Federal Highway, Suite 103, Boca Raton, Florida  33432. Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC (LLL&S) attorney Luis J. Delgado has been inducted as Treasurer of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS). Elected by his peers, Delgado will serve a one-year term, responsible for supervising the finances of the Young Lawyers Section, working closely with the Association’s Executive Director, members of the executive board and executive committees. Prior to his election, Delgado served in various YLS leadership positions, including chair of the 2012 YLS Young Lawyers Judicial Luncheon Committee and other section committees that coordinate service projects for the Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County and Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach County Bar Association’s YLS is an active group of young attorneys with the mission of encouraging networking via community outreach and public service activities. The Palm Beach County Bar Association’s YLS was recently recognized by the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, winning first place in the Awards of Achievement Program Comprehensive category.

While enrolled at the University of Florida simultaneously pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Political Science, Delgado enlisted as a Private First Class in the United States Marine Corps.
